    Day 1 — Arrive Nairobi, Fly to Arusha, Drive to Naro Moru

    Naro Moru, Kenya

    Arrive in Nairobi and depart on a morning flight to Arusha. Upon arrival, transfer to Naro Moru, the starting point of our Rongai Route climb. We will have a briefing and gear check before setting off to our camp for the night.

  2. 2

    Day 2 — Trek to Simba Camp

    Simba Camp, Kilimanjaro National Park

    Today we start our climb, trekking through the rainforest to Simba Camp. We will have stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the chance to spot wildlife such as monkeys and birds.

    Day 3 — Trek to Kikelewa Camp

    Kikelewa Camp, Kilimanjaro National Park

    Today we continue our ascent, trekking through moorland to Kikelewa Camp. We will have breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the chance to spot wildlife such as antelopes and birds.

    Day 4 — Trek to Mawenzi Tarn

    Today we continue our ascent, trekking to Mawenzi Tarn. We will have stunning views of the surrounding landscape and the chance to spot wildlife such as antelopes and birds.

    Day 5 — Summit Day

    Uhuru Peak, Kilimanjaro National Park

    Today is the day we have been training for – the summit day! We will start early and make our way to Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Kilimanjaro. We will have breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the chance to spot wildlife such as antelopes and birds.

    Day 6 — Descend to Marangu Gate

    Marangu Gate, Kilimanjaro National Park

    Today we begin our descent, making our way back down to Marangu Gate. We will have a chance to reflect on our amazing adventure and spot wildlife such as monkeys and birds.
