Community First
Everything we do is guided by the wellbeing of the Maasai community. Our business exists to serve them, not the other way around.
Our Story
Founder-led and Maasai-owned. We share the Tanzania we grew up in, and we make sure your journey leaves it stronger.
Clamian Kitesho was born in the shadow of the Ngorongoro Crater and raised Maasai in the wilds of Northern Tanzania. With 30 years in East African tourism and a degree in Natural Resource Management, he brings formal expertise and deep traditional knowledge that no classroom alone can teach. When he began guiding visitors through the landscapes he had always called home, he discovered something powerful. When people truly experience this place, not as tourists passing through but as guests welcomed in, it changes them. That discovery became Warrior Trails. Clamian built this company on a simple conviction. That sharing this land with the world should strengthen the community that lives on it, not diminish it. Today he also serves as Executive Director of Nashipay Maasai Initiatives, volunteer Chairman of Lowassa Secondary School, and a Board member of the Pastoral Women's Council. The school he founded, Nashipay Maasai School, now serves approximately 500 students, ranks in the top five in Monduli District, and has received government recognition for its work combating FGM. Every safari Warrior Trails runs is a direct expression of that commitment. Your journey here is their future.
Clamian Kitesho, Founder and Managing Director
Warrior Trails exists to do two things well. To show you one of the most extraordinary places on earth, and to ensure that your journey leaves it better than you found it. Every safari we run generates direct support for Nashipay Maasai Initiatives, funding education, conservation, clean water, and women's enterprise programs in the Maasai community of Makuyuni. This is not a side project or a footnote. It is the reason we are here. When you travel with us, you are not just a guest. You are an investor in a community that is growing stronger on its own terms.
Everything we do is guided by the wellbeing of the Maasai community. Our business exists to serve them, not the other way around.
We do not package or perform. Every experience we offer is rooted in the real lives, real land, and real culture of the people who call Northern Tanzania home.
We believe travel should leave a place stronger. We are committed to conservation, sustainability, and ensuring that tourism serves the community it touches.
The Maasai have one of the richest living cultures on earth. We carry that with pride in everything we do, from how we guide to how we welcome guests into our world.
We know that choosing a safari is a big decision. It takes trust. We hope that learning a little about who we are and why we do this has made that decision feel easier. When you are ready, we would love to help you plan a journey that feels right for you.
